Til the End of School

     According to my last calculations, the Seniors have approximately 25 days left; give or take a day or two. School is almost over, which is exciting, but also kind of saddening at the same time. Bittersweet is a great word to describe my feelings. All in all though, I'm excited to be done with school and go into the real world and now that I about it, I'm headed to Florida tomorrow morning so I'll have a shorter amount of days left than most of the other Seniors. As a whole, our class definitely has "Senioritis" as our teeachers would say.

Confused..?!?

This game is gut-wrenching. At first we couldn't find a good field layout for our background, but we may have just found a really good one to use. Now, our next issue is whether or not we want to use a drag-and-drop method, or a different concept of interaction. Then, our following problem would be what kind of characters we would want to use, and how we wanted to use em. We will eventually get it tho!

This Game!

     I am working on our Chemistry Football game, which is kind of frustrating to get started. I don't know whether to use a drag-and-drop method, or use motion with the keyboard. I'd honestly like to hit my laptop right now, but it'd hurt me more than fix anything!

Flash Blog

Last week in class we used Flash to get adapt to it. We learned that first we have to use Flash Action script 2.0 in order to work on our game. We began using the shape tool to design oval and circles and such to get started on our learning process. Also, we learned how to use time lines and key frames to create motion with our shapes.  

Bunny-Rabbit Game

Our team has been working on creating the bunny game with Flash. I didn't think it would be that hard to make but it is a little difficult. Every code is precise and has to be entered in word for word. Although the game isn't that great, it makes you appreciate all of the games that other people make but it's fun and I enjoy it.

Getting caught up....or else!

Today, actually over the past two or three days, we have been getting caught up in Globaloria. We've been uploading photos and changing the color of our font on our pages and what not. Mrs. Leef has been on our case about doing what we're supposed to do so I suppose that's why I'm blogging! I've learned how to do a lot of things on the WIKI though, it's a good experience.

Playing To Learn

Today in Globaloria I played Playing To Learn on Wiki. There was a few games that I liked and there was a few games that I didn't like, but it was cool to play games that other students made. My favorite game is Drift Runners, I might play it everyday from here on out. True story.
